A few pics from my patch...


I pulled the plants out of the planters today (yum yum carrots) and moved them and the old bath to make raised beds and a pond. The stone circle will be another raised bed.. probably a herb garden with something larger in the middle. Lavender perhaps?

I'm constantly amazed by the perception that non-homeschoolers have that homeschooling must be really hard and take a lot of comittment. I've been outside doing some watering and playing with the animals while the children have:
- coloured in
- collected and sorted the lego minifigures
- filled a bucket with gravel
- played with the guinea pigs
- made themselves morning tea
- played many imaginary games
All of which they have done with absolutely no intervention,
