I'm currently enjoying a cup of tea in the quiet because neither child is awake and I got enough sleep last night that I woke up naturally refreshed Soon I'll have to start getting organised to head up to town to cook lunch at my parents place because my sister is home after 2 years OS

I've taken to my bed for an hour and a half this morning while DH did kid wrangling and breakfast (as he usually does, I just wanted the time out) and once he leaves in a minute or three we're going to make up our spring table, do some sums by request - I've discovered some interesting "learned behaviour" on my part about division - and then a run to the post office. Cooler here again today thank the heavens. I also need to write up my Christmas fruit cake ingredients so we can get them baked and in the freezer till Christmas.

ETA - we're going to have a crack at making this today!

It is lovely and sunny here today so I'm trying to get all the washing done before going to the JL meet!

I think I've woken with a cold so I'm dosing up and hoping like mad I'm ok to work this week. Hopefully I'll get the chance to lie in the sun today at the JL meet.

We had invited peeps around to play in the mud this morning, but DH came down with horrible gastro last night so we've had to cancel that I really hope the rest of us don't get it.
